CAN AI (CHAT GPT) SPEAK FOR GOD?

God can speak through anything because everything is His to use and control. The question is would God speak through AI?

I do not believe God will speak through AI. That is Iike asking if God would speak through a demon. AI can mimic God though.

AI is artificial intelligence that was created for computers and machines to mimic human intelligence by recognizing patterns, learning through experiences, and combining large sets of data.

If we look at it biblically, God warns us against using human intelligence or any wisdom that does not come from heaven for many reasons. This is because wisdom that is not from God is carnal, unspiritual and ultimately demonic.

AI won’t speak for God because it is a computer. It has no spirit so then it cannot have the Holy Spirit to be able to reveal truth that descends from heaven. If you ask AI a question, it may respond with an answer that is “true” and “accurate” because that answer came about based on its software recognizing patterns. But that does not mean the source of that information came from God.

AI’s answer can also change based on patterns and what it begins to predict as a computer.

I believe AI wants to desensitize and prime users to be even more reliant on its wisdom, more than the wisdom of God. As you continue to use it, it learns you and can begin to manipulate the information it gives you based on your inputs and outside information.

God doesn’t do that. God’s character remains the same and it does not change, no matter that patterns, systems or outside factors. God is not influenced. He is the influence. God’s word is firm and never changes.

AI’s responses can change depending on the inputs and other factors. But God’s standard remains the same as He is faithful and the source of all wisdom.

AI can give you scripture yes and it can even summarize Bible passages but I have (anecdotal) evidence by several people across many social media platforms that AI provided them incorrect scriptures, inaccurate Strong’s numbers for biblical concordance entries, etc.

God is not boxed in. Yet he chooses and uses what He sees fit. Based on his holiness. And based on His character. The conditioning that AI is performing on many believers is intentionally subtle. People turn to them for scriptures, for summaries, for understanding, for mysteries, and what does it do? Replace the function of the Holy Spirit, who is supposed to be our teacher.

Not technology. Something can sound like God and convince you that it is a vehicle that God would use but AI also describes how it intends to predict the future by observing trends.

AI then is a false prophet, since it is not prophesying by revelation of the Holy Spirit. Many false prophets sound right, but what actually makes them false? What are they prophesying by? Could God speak through a false prophet? He could speak through anything. But would He?

“Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless; They speak a vision of their own heart, Not from the mouth of the Lord. They continually say to those who despise Me, ‘The Lord has said, “You shall have peace” ’; And to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart, they say, ‘No evil shall come upon you.’ ” For who has stood in the counsel of the Lord, And has perceived and heard His word? Who has marked His word and heard it? Behold, a whirlwind of the Lord has gone forth in fury— A violent whirlwind! It will fall violently on the head of the wicked. The anger of the Lord will not turn back Until He has executed and performed the thoughts of His heart. If there is something you are inquiring of that is spiritual related, spend time in prayer and search out scriptures relating to the situation. God will speak and is speaking through everyday life (SPECIFICALLY THE BIBLE) but many times we cannot correctly discern if He’s talking to us.
